Often there are large rooms in the house that we do not know how to use it and how to arrange furniture in it. Here are a few suggestions on how to arrange furniture in a room that can be used as a multi-purpose room.
- You could pick a feature of the room and make it the focal feature of the room. Arrange the furniture around the feature or place furniture opposite each other to create a balance in the room.

- In the dinning area, allow 3 feet around the dining table, so that you can sit comfortably and there is space for traffic flow.
- Furniture should be placed in such a fashion that it is easy for people to move into the sitting and dining areas.
By arranging furniture in this fashion you can convert a multi-purpose room into a living cum dining room.
